Harishrum Engineers Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated on the 17th day of May, 1993, as a company limited by shares under the Companies Act of 1956. The company set up a unit for the design and manufacture of Engineering and Mechanical Spares for the core sector, primarily plummer blocks/bearing housings and accessories thereof. The company has added to its product range helicoil type Screw Thread Inserts, Locknuts and Installation Accessories under the brand name of GRIPCOIL.

Harishrum is the market leader of fasteners – thread inserts – in the Indian industry and is the major supplier of such specialized fasteners to leading core sectors from Defence, Railways, Automobiles, Space, Atomic Energy, Steel and Power to Mining, Cement, Material Handling, Textile Machineries and others.

The GRIPCOIL Thread Insert and Locknut is not only wide and varied in its use but is also a supplement for import substitution. The Company also envisages an evolving product market and the export of such specialized fasteners to leading OEMs in Europe, America, Africa and other Asian countries.
